This Participant Registration, Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver (“Participant Agreement”) applies to Through the Heat, a signature series of guided sauna experiences facilitated by Wild Within Experiences (“Wild Within”) and hosted at Löyly Recovery (“Löyly”).

The information you provide assists us in administering your registration, supporting your wellbeing throughout the experience, and ensuring you understand the nature of your participation.

Please read the following acknowledgements carefully before participating.

3.1 Conditions of Participation

I acknowledge that I will not participate in the experience if any of the following apply to me:

• I have a communicable skin condition or open sores.
• I have unmanaged diabetes.
• I have heart disease, epilepsy, seizures or a history of blackouts without the approval of my treating medical practitioner.
• I am pregnant.
• I have a medical condition that may be adversely affected by exposure to heat.
• I have kidney disease.
• I am under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
• I am suffering from incontinence.
• I have a fever or infectious illness.

3.2 Essential Oils

I acknowledge that essential oils may be used during the experience as part of the guided sauna journey.

I agree to advise Wild Within before the experience if I have any known allergy or sensitivity to essential oils.

I understand that I may leave the sauna or discontinue my participation at any time if I experience discomfort or an adverse reaction.

3.3 Nature of the Experience

I acknowledge that Through the Heat is a guided wellbeing experience that may include guided sauna bathing, Aufguss towelling techniques, heat and cold exposure, guided breathing, storytelling, periods of silence, music, aromatics, movement and other facilitated activities.

I understand that my participation is entirely voluntary and that I may leave the sauna or discontinue my participation at any time.

I agree to participate within my own physical limits and to follow all reasonable instructions provided by the facilitators and venue staff throughout the experience.

4. Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver

Please read the following carefully.

By participating in a Through the Heat experience facilitated by Wild Within and hosted at Löyly, I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agree to this Participant Agreement.

4.1 Use of Facilities

I acknowledge that my participation in a Through the Heat experience includes the use of the facilities provided by Löyly, together with equipment, props and materials supplied by both Löyly and Wild Within.

I agree to use all facilities, equipment and materials responsibly, to follow all instructions provided by the facilitators and venue staff, and to treat the premises and all property with care and respect at all times.

I understand that Wild Within and Löyly reserve the right to refuse entry or discontinue my participation should my behaviour place the safety, wellbeing or enjoyment of myself, other participants or staff at risk.

4.2 Personal Responsibility

I acknowledge that I am participating in this experience voluntarily and accept full responsibility for my own health, wellbeing and personal conduct throughout the experience.

I agree to participate within my own physical limits, to monitor my own comfort and wellbeing, and to immediately remove myself from the sauna or any part of the experience should I begin to feel unwell, dizzy, faint or otherwise uncomfortable.

I agree to follow all instructions provided by the facilitators and venue staff and to conduct myself in a respectful manner that supports the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all participants.

I acknowledge that if, at any time, I believe I am no longer able to participate safely, it is my responsibility to leave the sauna or advise a facilitator immediately.

4.3 Medical Disclaimer

I acknowledge that Through the Heat is a guided wellbeing experience facilitated by Wild Within and hosted at Löyly. It is not a medical service, healthcare service, psychological service or therapeutic treatment.

I understand that the facilitators and venue staff are not medical practitioners and do not diagnose, prescribe, treat or provide medical advice in relation to any physical or mental health condition.

I acknowledge that participation in this experience is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If I have any concerns regarding my health or my suitability to participate, it is my responsibility to seek advice from an appropriately qualified medical practitioner before attending.

4.4 Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in a Through the Heat experience involves the voluntary use of sauna facilities and participation in a guided wellbeing experience, both of which involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

I understand that these risks may include, but are not limited to, exposure to heat, rapid changes in temperature, physical exertion, dehydration, dizziness, fainting, allergic reactions to essential oils, slips, falls, contact with hot surfaces, or other risks associated with the use of sauna facilities and participation in guided activities.

I acknowledge that I have chosen to participate voluntarily, fully understand the nature of the experience, and freely accept and assume all risks associated with my participation, including the risk of personal injury, illness, property loss or damage, serious injury or death.

I acknowledge that I am participating at my own risk and accept full responsibility for my decision to participate.

4.5 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, I acknowledge that my participation in a Through the Heat experience is entirely voluntary and that I accept the inherent risks associated with the use of the facilities, participation in the guided wellbeing experience, and the activities undertaken as part of that experience.

Accordingly, I release and discharge Wild Within, Löyly, their owners, directors, employees, contractors, facilitators and affiliates from any liability, claims, demands, actions or proceedings arising from or connected with my voluntary participation in the experience, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

I understand that this release applies to any loss, damage, injury or expense that may arise in connection with my participation, whether occurring before, during or after the experience.

4.6 Right to Refuse or End Participation

Wild Within and Löyly reserve the right to refuse entry to, or discontinue the participation of, any person where, in their reasonable opinion, continued participation may present a risk to the health, safety or wellbeing of the participant, other participants, staff, the facilities or equipment, or where a participant fails to comply with this Participant Agreement.

I acknowledge that any decision to refuse or discontinue my participation will be made in the interests of safety and that I agree to comply with any reasonable direction given by the facilitators or venue staff.

4.7 Damage to Property

I acknowledge that I am responsible for exercising reasonable care when using the facilities, equipment, props and materials provided by Löyly and Wild Within.

I understand that I may be held responsible for any loss or damage to the facilities, equipment, furnishings, props or other property arising from my negligent, reckless or intentional acts, or from my failure to comply with the instructions provided by the facilitators or venue staff.

Where applicable, I agree to reimburse the reasonable costs associated with repairing or replacing damaged property, including any reasonable business interruption or other direct losses resulting from that damage, to the extent permitted by law.

4.8 Privacy

I acknowledge that Wild Within will collect and store the personal information provided in this Participant Agreement for the purpose of administering my participation in the experience, communicating with me regarding my booking, responding in the event of an emergency involving my participation, and meeting its legal and operational obligations.

I understand that relevant information may be shared with Löyly where reasonably necessary for the safe administration of the experience. My personal information will not be disclosed to any other third party except where required or permitted by law.

If you have any questions regarding this Participant Agreement before participating, please contact Wild Within or speak with a facilitator prior to the commencement of the experience.

5. Declaration

By submitting this Participant Agreement, I declare that:

• I have read and understood this Participant Agreement in its entirety.
• The information I have provided is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
• I understand the nature of the experience and voluntarily choose to participate.
• I acknowledge the inherent risks associated with participation.
• I agree to be legally bound by this Participant Agreement.
